On foot
The best way to get around the town, especially during Showzam is on foot. With loads of entertainment happening throughout town centre, including street performers, walking from one great Showzam event to another is the only way to guarantee you don’t miss a thing!

By tram
Blackpool Trams are an attraction in themselves.
They run the length of Blackpool’s famous Promenade from Starr Gate in the South, through Blackpool and beyond the northern boundary of the resort up into the neighbouring towns of Cleveleys and Fleetwood.
Discounted travel passes for trams and buses can be purchased for 1, 3, 5 and 7 days.
By bus
Bus services connect most hotels to all the attractions.
The Tourist Information Centre and Blackpool Transport Services’ office on Market Street (behind the Town Hall, next to BHS) have timetables and discounted fare passes.
Get yourself a Metroguide bus map, which is also a convenient street map.

By taxi
There are taxi ranks throughout the town centre, and most accommodation providers, theatres and attractions will provide a freephone line to a local taxi service.
By car
Blackpool encourages everyone in the resort to use more environmentally friendly forms of transport whilst here.
If you must use your own vehicle to get around, then there are short and long stay car parks throughout the resort.
